  Precautions
Sailing and Yachting
You need not be a champion swimmer, but if motion sickness or an abnormal fear of being in narrow or enclosed spaces overpowers you, retrace a dryer destination. Try to be in uniform course of movement and live in lodges that are firm.

Scuba Diving
Experienced divers should take precautions of not swimming too much, to conserve air. It is very essential to be easeful in the water and in adequately good build. You can go for a certification courses like PADI (Professional Association of Dive Instructors) or NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors) for undertaking Scuba Diving.

Sea Kayaking
In Sea Kayaking it is important to know that when you have to stop; time keeps on passing by as you glide through the water.

Whitewater Rafting
While rafting, count your strokes and always be active when things turns rough. Since rafts don't have the ability to right themselves so prepared to swimming with restrictions like lifejacket.

Essential Skills
Sailing and Yachting
If you want to hire a bare-boat for your own driving, first learn to sail in home waters. Majority of sailing schools runs a course in bare-boat cruising, which can be undertaken.

Scuba Diving
It is essential to learn that as, how to clear the mask when it fills with water, how to cope with the situation when you are low on air and to reinsert your regulator if it falls out of your mouth. You can also take up a "resort course," that is quite safe and allows you to dive with an instructor down to a maximum depth of 10 meters

Sea Kayaking
Not much technical skills are required to take up this sport, only you have the ability to sit down and move your arms.

Gear Up
Sailing and Yachting
While Sailing and Yachting it is important to carry sunscreen, 2 pairs of polarized sunglasses by chance one goes overboard then there is always the second one in store, a sun hat, foul-weather gear, and non-slip deck shoes.

Scuba Diving
Required gear includes- a mask, snorkel, fins, Buoyancy Compensatory (BC), regulator, dive computer or watch, weights, and often a wetsuit.

Sea Kayaking
It requires a boat, a tandem, spray-skirt to keep dry, paddle that is quite long and lighter, and a Coast Guard-approved lifejacket.

White water Rafting
Usually tour operators arrange for all your requirements that includes- wetsuits, lifejackets, paddles, and rafts. Besides this you will require coolers, cargo nets, and dry-bags.

Common Terms
The word-stock of sailing is quite extensive, much of it making no sense to the newcomer.

Sailing and Yachting
Starboard: The right side of the boat when you are facing forward.
Jibe: It happens when sailing with the wind behind you.
Sheet: A line used to direct the sails. If you hear a shout 'Sheet, Sheet,' then immediately pull in the sheet.

Regulator: A mouthpiece unit that attaches to a diver's tank.

Sweep stroke: A broad paddle blow on the plane of the water used to help in taking a turn.

Whitewater Rafting
